Drift Society Team Challenge 2023

Having postponed this event back in March due to an exceptionally wet month, understandably there were fears that we might have to do the same on Friday 20th October due to a less than favorable forecast. However, the course has been in fantastic shape this summer and you wouldn’t have known there was an inch of rain over night.

The field of 96 all arrived with smiles on their faces and were rewarded with perfect playing conditions. The format of the day was best two stableford scores from four and the results matched the splendidly presented golf course.

The winners were all siblings representing different golf clubs: The Drift, Lyme Regis, Ogbourne Downs and The Players Golf Club. Their score of 91 points topped a closely contested event. A great day was had by all – we look forward to seeing you in 2024.
